We love the web
We believe the web is the most amazing innovation to occur in recent history and that it can change the world and make it better, and that its meant to be open, not owned or controlled by any one entity. We use only open web standards whenever possible, creating and proposing new ones if necessary.
We’re fans of using the best tool for the job, so we … and often work with a variety of partners and services which increase the speed of development, reduce risk and offer additional value. Of course, all projects are different, so we carefully analyse each situation and choose the most appropriate solutions.
The user is king
We go out of our way to deliver insanely over-the-top user experience and customer service, spending extra time and effort to add a bit of delight to everyone’s day.
Our products are intuitive. No matter how advanced and full-featured, you’ll learn them up in minutes or hours, not days or weeks. We don’t usually sell you training because you won’t need it!
Fun & Awesome
There is a place for fun, creativity, and beauty, even in business. Craftsmanship, elegance and quality really matter to us. A pleasing user experience will lead to an increase in productivity, loyalty, sales and general happiness.
Progress comes through change
We embrace and encourage it, always adapting, using new technology, trying new methods and implementing fresh ideas. Staying put actually leaves you falling behind, we keep our feet moving to always be ready for the next big thing.
Thinking outside the box
Figuring out what’s really important
Define the minimum viable product to deliver for the initial release, and add to it later. It’s better to have half a product than a half-baked product.
Details do matter
Beyond functionality, content and aesthetics, we pay great attention to what others only consider to be details, like accessibility, performance, and reliability.
Clarity is king
We believe it’s important to be honest, open and friendly. Buzzwords & lingo (unless you’re a geek too!), and sensationalized sales-and-marketing-speak have no place.
Lock-in is obscene
No one likes being stuck in something they don’t want anymore. Our customers can move on at any time, no questions asked. The majority of our work being built with open-source tools, they also don’t have to start over from scratch, but can continue evolving what we built for them.
